As an active member of the Women’s Chestermere Group, I support initiatives that empower women and assist those overcoming various forms of abuse. This mission deeply aligns with my personal values of compassion, empowerment, and humanity—principles I strive to pass on to my children.
My professional background is diverse. I worked in customer service for five years and in the medical field as a Medical Office Assistant before transitioning to entrepreneurship in 2023. Today, I co-manage our family businesses—JRS Trucking & Logistics and Sparkling Services Residential Cleaning—which continue to grow through hard work and dedication.
Back home in the Philippines, I served three terms as a Sangguniang Kabataan (Youth Council) officer, an experience that shaped my passion and commitment to public and community service. I also pursued studies in Addictions and Community Health, which strengthened my resolve to help others in meaningful and lasting ways.
For me, leadership is not just about guiding others—it’s about inspiring, empowering, and serving with heart and purpose.

Since coming to Canada in 2006, I transitioned from the Oil & Gas industry to becoming a business entrepreneur involved in post-construction services, investments, and retail. My passion extends beyond business to community engagement, where I actively supported emergency responses for the Jasper Wildfire and Three Hills fire. I have built collaborative partnerships with groups like ActionDignity to run outreach programs such as the Alex Food Community, addressing food security. I also organize cultural and festival events that foster community connection and support local businesses. As Vice President of the Board, I guide the organization’s strategy and culture, advocating for community empowerment and shared responsibility to use our talents for the greater good.

After I "hung up my 'apron'", I have been spending my time learning new hobbies, travelling and often times babysitting my grandkids.
Now, it is time to give to the community. Under the spirit of "Bayanihan", I am excited to share that CFCC will aim to craft and offer workshops, echo training, and skill sharing events to utilize our collective talents to help with professional growth and personal enrichment to live a balanced life. I look forward to seeing you in one or all of these events extended to strengthen our community ties as we empower each other.

Community involvement has always been close to my heart. I am passionate about volunteerism, especially in programs that support children and strengthen our community. Over the years, I have also worked as a Healthcare Assistant and participated in childcare programs, experiences that deepened my commitment to caring for others.
In addition to my community work, I help manage our family business, Brenlyn Transport Ltd, where I have served as Administrator and Payroll Manager for the past 18 years. I take pride in balancing family, work, and service—continuing to give back to the community that I now call home.

I have been a proud resident of Chestermere since 2016 and currently serve as the District Manager for Domino’s locations in Chestermere, Strathmore, Wetaskiwin, and Camrose, Alberta. I’ve been with Domino’s for nine years, beginning as a part-time employee while juggling multiple jobs as a newcomer. Through hard work, perseverance, and dedication, I advanced from Supervisor to General Manager, and now to my current leadership role.
Before moving to Canada, I was an active community leader and member of the community council in the Philippines, where I developed a strong passion for public service. That same commitment continues here in Chestermere—I’m always eager to participate in local initiatives, support community events, and lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Our family moved to Calgary in 2013 and began our Canadian journey living in a small downtown apartment. As newcomers with no relatives in Alberta, finding the right community to call home was a challenge at first. Then, we discovered the beautiful lake in Chestermere—and instantly fell in love with the city’s charm, peaceful surroundings, and strong sense of community. We officially made Chestermere our home in 2014.
Wherever I go, I naturally seek out fellow Filipinos. I love meeting kababayans, hearing their stories, and sharing experiences—it brings comfort and a sense of belonging that eases homesickness.
Professionally, I’ve had a fulfilling journey. I worked as a Registered Nurse in various healthcare facilities until the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Like many, that period was exhausting and life-changing. It encouraged me to explore new opportunities, leading me to the world of Real Estate, where I earned my Realtor license in 2021. That same year, my husband and I purchased our first rental property and have since continued to grow our real estate investments.
However, my passion for nursing and caring for others never left me. In 2024, I followed my heart and established Nurse On Duty Home Care Services, a company dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals and families in need. The business continues to grow and is preparing to expand into other cities—something I am deeply proud of.
At my core, I am guided by community, compassion, and family. My husband and I are blessed with three beautiful children, who inspire me every day to serve others, create meaningful connections, and give back to the community that has given us so much.
